Brecon Carreg's Gill Bullock and Jeff Philips have fun in the rain with "Gene Kelly"
Welsh Natural Mineral Water, Brecon Carreg, is urging people to celebrate one of Wales’ most precious resources – rain!
In a new campaign launching in time for the April Showers, Brecon Carreg will be encouraging everyone in Lancashire and the North West to celebrate the naturally wet weather that provides an abundant supply of the number one selling Welsh Natural Mineral Water.
Brecon Carreg’s ‘Celebrating Rain’ campaign will look at the fun that can be had on rainy days, with a series of rain themed events - from fun in the rain photography competitions to the Brecon Carreg inaugural cardboard boat race - planned to take place throughout 2007 to get people to appreciate the benefits of the wet Welsh weather.
Marketing Manager, Gill Bullock, said: “We want to encourage people to celebrate rain and think of all the fun that can be had with water. So often people don’t think of all the exciting and amusing activities they can do when it rains and we want to change this with our ‘Celebrating Rain’ campaign.
“Brecon Carreg comes from Welsh rain which is naturally filtered and purified for 15 years as it percolates through the rocks of the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are therefore delighted when it rains as it provides us with a plentiful supply of our Welsh natural mineral water. We want everyone to enjoy and celebrate this natural and precious resource with us.”
