We’re pleased to announce that we have agreed to be the water sponsor for the popular St David’s Day Run in Cardiff.
The event will take place on Sunday 28 February 2016 in Cardiff’s Bute Park. It regularly attracts 2,000 runners and thanks to the popularity, this year’s will be the first to have a water sponsor!
The St David’s Day Run has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities since it started in 2003 and one of those benefitting this year is the Motivation and Learning Trust (MLT), a charity which helps young people to meet their potential.
Professor Kevin Davies, CEO of the Motivation and Learning Trust, said: “We are delighted that Brecon Carreg have acknowledged the growing momentum of the St David’s Day Run. By sponsoring us they are highlighting the essential work of MLT in ensuring young people can be the best they can.
“Very best wishes to all participants and see you on the way around.”
As well as a medal for all participants, the race awards a best-dressed prize for runners in the craziest costumes. We can’t wait to see the outfits people come up with.
