This weekend we headed over the bridge to Bristol to celebrate all things Halloween and teach the little ones a thing or two about recycling and water in the process.
Brecon Carreg may be from the beautiful Brecon Beaons National Park but did you know that you can buy our wonderful Welsh water over the border in Bristol, Birmingham and Liverpool to name a few? That’s why we decided to head on over to England and meet some new friends in the blogging community.
We invited a selection of friendly Bristol bloggers, including Tantrums to Smiles, This is me blog and The Parent Game to bring their broods and join us in some crafty activities at the awesome Phoenix Café.
Amy from Science Burp joined us to keep the crafting on track and ensure we were all behaving! With paint and pipe cleaners in abundance we had everything from Frankenstein, spiders, bats to a Creeper from Minecraft (thanks Luke!).
As well as lots of fun the children also learned some fun facts about water on the back of our kid’s pack bottles which were a big hit. For example, did you know that water covers 70% of the earth’s surface? All of our kids pack bottles have fun activities on the back to keep the little ones entertained for five minutes.
Thanks to everyone for attending and making our Halloween extra spooky.
