Brecon Carreg was invited to be the official water provider for the Sŵn festival and we eagerly accepted.
Of course, we didn’t turn down the opportunity to meet some of the bands either! With our all access passes we went backstage to get an insight into Sŵn and meet the talented artists performing including Pretty Vicious who included Brecon Carreg as one of their must-have brands.
How was the tour?
The tour with Nothing But Thieves was awesome! We got the opportunity to play to a load of different people we wouldn’t normally have the chance to play to so it was a lot of fun for us
You’re pretty big now – Huw Stephens featured you on his show and Glastonbury was a huge success. Why is it important to come back to your roots?
There’s no point in trying to be someone you’re not. We don’t want to just forget about the place we came from when it’s what made us who we are and has served as inspiration for many of our songs
Does the music you listen to reflect the music you play?
We all have very diverse music tastes and as a result are all influenced by a wide variety of different artists and genres. Although right now we don’t listen to too much music to keep our own as original as possible
What are the albums from 2015 that you love?
Wolf Alice’s Your Love Is Cool, Darlia’s mini-album Petals, Nothing But Thieves’ self-titled debut and Slaves’ Are You Satisfied are some of our favourite albums of the year.
