Natural mineral water and tap water – what’s the difference?!
There’s often a lot of confusion as to whether or not there’s much of a contrast between the two but you may be surprised to find out just how different they are. Take a look…
Our Source – Naturally Filtered
Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park is the protected source of Brecon Carreg natural mineral water.
Starting life as rain falling on the hills and valleys, our water takes an incredible 15 years to filter through solid layers of limestone rock before we bottle it at source. And we think every drop is worth the wait.
Thanks to the naturally occurring filtration of our water, we don’t need to add a thing – it’s outstandingly pure just as it is.
Our Source Keeper – Andrew
Protecting nature is the foundation of Brecon Carreg. We take responsibility for protecting our water catchment areas, promoting biodiversity and we strive to be exemplary in the domain of water management. You can read more about our commitment to sustainability here.
Andrew has one of the most important jobs here at Brecon Carreg – he’s our Source Keeper. As well as being responsible for the source, Andrew ensures that Brecon Carreg water is perfect when it leaves us. Through regular testing at the source and during bottling, he takes great pride in being able to say that every drop of Brecon Carreg tastes as pure as it did the moment we found it at the source.
