Meet the wonderful wildlife of Brecon Carreg!

Here at Brecon Carreg, we’re more than just our water. We’re surrounded by miles and miles of beautiful fields and farmland, where our busy groundskeepers have been working hard over the last few weeks installing cameras to capture the nature that we have living among us.

Occupying our fields near the cottage and river, by day we captured foxes and herons, and by night the badgers and otters came out to play.

These are shy animals, so we love that our new camera’s allow us to see them playfully exploring and causing mischief in our fields!

We look forward to updating you all on what else we find in future. In the meantime, we hope you’ve enjoyed these videos just as much as we did!

Happy Valentine’s Day! We’re not ones for writing love letters. It’s best left to the finest wordsmith in Wales, Nessa Jenkins – “I won’t lie, you’re not everyone’s cup of tea but at the end of the day when all’s said and done, you’re tidy.”

This is your friendly reminder to stay hydrated today and enjoy the sunshine! #BreconCarreg #WelshWater #StayHydrated
